Simple Search: Searches on exact text with no restrictions. To see all strips within a given strip type and number range, enter a colon (:) as the search term and run a simple search.

Smart Search: Utilizes mySQL boolean full text search. Can search multiple words that are not next to each other in the transcript. Ignores search terms that are too small or common. Can use boolean operators such as:
+ leading plus specifies comics must have that word (i.e. +Sony)
- leading minus specifies comics without that word (i.e. -Sega)
* wildcard specifies words that start with a word (i.e. kill*)
